General Info
I've been interested in photography since I was about 14 or so, using one
of my dad's old Minolta SRT-101 cameras. I used that camera all through college,
and in fact still have it. In 1992, I got a Minolta X-700, which I used up until 2000.
Currently, I am using a Nikon D70 almost exclusively.
All the photos on this site were taken by me. I try to post a new photo every
day or two, but sometimes life gets in the way. Many of the photos posted are old
shots taken on trips out west or in Maine. Many of them are newer shots taken with
a digital camera, a Nikon D70.
As I clear out some of the older images, hopefully having this photolog will help
me take more pictures. That's the idea, anyway.

The concept for the design was, like most stuff on the web, shamelessly stolen from too
many places to mention. I doubt I even remember them all.
All images that are film-based were taken with various Kodak (for the older images) and
Fuji (newer) emulsions, some color print film like Kodak Ektar and some color slide film,
like Fuji Provia. A Minolta Scan Elite 2800 dpi scanner was used to scan the images.
All images have been post-processed using Adobe Photoshop. Mostly this involves just
histogram adjusting (levels), contrast and hue adjusting, resizing and sharpening.
Some of the film images needed scratches removed, so I did that with Photoshop as well.
The images taken with the D70 are batched in photoshop to resize and sharpen, some
levels correction is also done.
