Guess he's not staying.
I have no idea why Roy Williams wants to come back to Carolina. Actually, that's not true, I do have ideas why, I just didn't think those reasons would outweigh the reasons to stay in Kansas.
But I'm damn glad he's coming back.

I'd have thought that 15 years at one of the most prestigious jobs in college basketball with a fantastic overall record would have been enough. Why try to be the next Dean Smith at UNC when he's already Roy Williams at Kansas?
In any case, the powers that be at UNC should be ecstatic. This is probably the only outcome where the aura surrounding the new coach would outshine the darkness surrounding how Matt was handled.
